Kendrick R. Brede D.M.D.

Dr. Brede graduated Cum Laude from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 1981, turning down a teaching position there to begin his lifelong journey to become the premier clinical general dentist he is today. Prior to attending dental school, Dr. Brede graduated with a bachelor of science in Biophysics from Pennsylvania State University in 1978. Though originally from Pennsylvania, Dr. Brede has been practicing in Needham for over 35 years.

Dr. Brede completed his initial implant training in 1996 and has since taken additional advanced courses in Bicon’s short implant technique. Dr. Brede is adamant about staying up to date on current dental advances, and therefore takes annual courses updating him on esthetic/restorative dentistry, soft and hard tissue surgical techniques, endodontics, periodontics, and prosthodontics. He is also certified in Raintree Essix clear orthodontic aligners, and has been trained to treat TMJ issues pertaining to TMD.

In his free time, Dr. Brede enjoys fishing, golfing, skiing, and spending time with his family. Dr. Brede also has a passion for medical mission work, and travels annually to a dental clinic he has established in Hyderabad, India. Although he has also been on trips to Peru, Kenya and Brazil, his heart has truly remained with the orphans of the Agape International AIDS Orphanage since 2007. He now also serves as one of the orphanage’s American board members. Click on the logo below to read more about this foundation.

Rachel Holm R.D.H.

Rachel has practiced Dental Hygiene since 2001, after graduating from Quinsigammond Community College with an associate degree in Science. Rachel worked as a temporary hygienist for 10 years, traveling throughout the United States, Caribbean, and South Africa. She fell in love with our practice in the spring of 2010 and has since remained with us as a permanent staff member. She “especially enjoy[s] working in a family practice since it calls for using many skills I’ve cultivated throughout the years. One of my favorite aspects of working with Dr. Brede is the atmosphere of education in the office. I enjoy teaching our patients how to maintain their dental health instead of merely chasing a disease. It is rewarding to participate in helping others to progress toward good health!”

Kerry Ligor R.D.H

Prior to obtaining her dental hygiene license, Kerry was Dr. Brede’s chairside dental assistant for fourteen years and therefore is an invaluable member of our clinical team. Kerry graduated as a valedictorian from Middlesex College in 2007. “Our office has a commitment to oral cancer screenings and I’m proud to be a part of such a conscientious team. I unreservedly can say that we will treat you like family and recommend to you what we genuinely feel will be in your best interests while educating you on all available options.”
